Can someone get caught from downloading Japanese software?

 

Let's just say, and this is all hypothetical, but let's just say I was interested in downloaded Vocaloid software. However, I can't read Japanese, so I can't use the Japanese GUI, which is the only GUI available for purchase. Now say I found a download on Demonoid. Since this is a Japanese-only program, and it is not licensed in America by any company, what are the chances of being caught leaching and/or seeding the torrent compared to and American piece of software? My thinking is that any major anti-piracy companies won't PAY to send me to court because they won't make any money from doing that (considering I'm not taking anything American). So what are the odds of getting caught downloading Vocaloid software in this completely hypothetical scenario?
