I have a PC at home running Windows 7 beta. I havent updated to RC because I am currently traveling abroad. The Windows 7 PC to the internet via a wired network card connected to a DLink router (which is connected to Virgin Media cable broadband).
Background: Last year while traveling, the same PC was running vista. I wanted to access UK-only content while traveling abroad, so I configured an incoming connection on Vista. When I wished to access the UK-only content, I would VPN from a Vista client to the Vista VPN server at home. All internet traffic would route via the Vista VPN server and I could access the UK-only content.
Current Problem: I am again traveling and I again wish to access UK-only content. I have again configured the same computer (now running Windows 7 beta) with an incoming connection using the default config. I can again establish a VPN connection from the same Vista client to the Windows 7 VPN server. However, this time I cannot access anything beyond the Windows 7 machine itself... No internet; no access to other home computers or the DLink router.
