Доброго времени суток всем.
У меня есть следующая проблема: настроено АДСЛ соединение через Usergate 2.8. Все было бы нормально, если бы не было прокси для работы в интернете и нормало принимало бы почту. Из-за прокси естественно не работают онлайн игры, в которых в свойствах сети явно не указана возможность подключения через прокси.
Задача: небходимо создать VPN-сервер (в данном случае на Вин 2003) для избавления от прокси и раздачи инета по логину и паролю.
Очень хотелось бы получить от уважаемых обитателей этого форума пошаговую инструкцию для настройки ВПН-сервера под 2003 Виндовс с указанием как создать пользователя и присвоить ему логин/пароль. Также чем можно для этой системы считать и раздавать траффик, ограничивать скорость, указывать правила для работы в инете, считать траффик по разному тарифу в разное время суток. Если не трудно, напишите или дайте ссылку на подробный материал по этому вопросу для чайника.
P.S. Убедительная просьба не отправлять меня в хелп по Виндовсу, так как там конкретно я ничего не нашел.

I hope someone can help me with this. Heres the situation:
My wife has a TP. She wants to use it in the wild with unsecure wireless hotspots. Im not comfortable with that as her gmail and facebook passwords will be broadcast out in the open.
What Ive done is to set up an OpenVPN server (a Windows 7 x64 box) at home and installed the OpenVPN app on her TP. I have also installed the ProxySwitch app. I can now forward, via proxy, her web usage back to my home VPN server and onto the Internet from there. I can also do the same, via tunnels, with her non-gmail based e-mail (POP) accounts. That all works nicely. However...
Heres the problem. I can not forward her gmail (IMAP) communications via tunnels over the VPN. The response from the e-mail app is that the host certificates do not match. I assume that to be true since the e-mail app is looking for gmail and it is finding my home VPN server first. Interestingly, I do this with my Windows laptop and Outlook seems to have no problem with it. Works like a champ. I need to keep this IMAP as that is where her contacts and calendars are.
So, is there a way to do this? Maybe there is a way to turn off certificate checking by the e-mail app? Or is there some other way to forward the gmail (IMAP) e-mail traffic via the VPN?
BTW, I did try to use OpenSSH and ssh tunnelling, however, either OpenSSH or one of its dependant apps prevent the HP App Catalog from working. Havent figured out why. I just know when I install it, the App Catalog stops working and when I uninstall it, the App Catalog starts working again.
Anyway, I would sure appreciate any help/guidance from the collective genius out there!

Стоит сервак2003 и isa server, все открыто, пытаюсь зацепиться на удаленный ВПН сервер а винда выкидывает ошибку 806 (ругается на GRE протокол). Отключал ISA ошибка та же. есть предположение что проблема в политиках самой винды... но конкретно где искать не знаю.

But things get complicated with connecting to the server using the game client.I've read something about VPN, is there any that works well enought to be able to enjoy the game (ie. no lags)?And one more thing - is there any way to pay for the game/gametime without a Japanese credit card (I have an European one for paying online, bought stuff from Amazon Japan with it).Well, the thing is that I had to use proxy to connect to their website. And because you set proxy in your browser, I'd probably just get the IP error someone mentioned here on the forums.
